it amazes me that a lot of yungbaws never even heard of these, but they swear they know 'throwback' sneaks. these were the classic Nikes WAY before the Air Force One. and they are almost as versatile. in all white leather tho. and the brown leather joints are monster in the fall. but these are the originals. even the nylons (below) get fresh with certain shit, and extra fresh on some everyday errand shit. if you ain't, get hip...

Man, I bought a pair of white-on-white Cortez last year, first pair I'd had since 6th grade in 91, and they made my feet hurt.
I think the problem is that I went with the all leather, should have gotten the nylon or the FlyWire joints that were in and out of the outlet in less than a week.
I still have them, but I need to give them away or something.
I still see people rockin the Cortez' ever so often (or DopeMan Nikes as we used to call them down south in the late 80's esrly 90's). Used to have quite a few pair 4th grade through middle school. Had to retire them in high school, they dont look so fresh in a size 13.

what i notice over the years is that certain kicks look better on different types of people. me, the foamposites and all that shit would look nutty on me. but some smooth shits like these, a pair of linen shorts, button down white shirt, and smooovie doo rides again.
