I believe that the reason why Ghadaffi was killed was because he wasnt gonna play along with they plans. He was gonna form a Africa Union but to defend Africa not go along with the world leaders plans.

family, u should really see all of the conveniences that the Libyans had under Ghadafi. i mean, right up to his government paying half for housing and automobiles for ALL citizens. college was free. gas was CRAZY low, like a dollar a gallon. 90+ percent literacy rate, housing rate, nearly zero homelessness, almost no poverty. look it up yourself. dude was ready to switch his currency to a gold standard (which would make his citizens more wealthy by putting redeemable certificates for gold directly in his citizens hands, which is the same as passing out gold) and to require his oil deposits be paid for in gold.
